They dismounted, turned, and remounted all tires — still vibration. I am convinced it's something in the driveline and not the tires/wheels. It only happens when passing through 3000 RPM at mid to heavy throttle, only really noticeable in first and second gear. Just such a blemish for an otherwise beautifully smooth engine and transmission.
In fairness, the problem might not have existed when they had it. An auto trans specialist would be your best option, they'll code read it, and tell you what needs to be done. It won't be cheap, I'd budget from between 150-300 for a repair. A lot cheaper than a box, but still a bitter pill to swallow.
