Honda unveiled the first FK8 prototype at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and the production version at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show. The Type R is based on the standard Civic hatchback, but with a whole host of performance and aerodynamic upgrades. Visually, the Type R is very different to the standard Civic and is much more aggressive in its appearance.
